The hotel spa was originally opened for public use by Royal Decree in 1893. Since then, its high mineral content – one of the highest of any spa in Europe – have made it a popular spot to relax and rejuvenate. Nowadays, the elegant and state-of-the-art facilities include experience showers, indoor swimming pool, thermal and hydromassage baths, Vichy showers and massages, saunas and steam rooms. Treatments include those for stress and cellulite.

For a quiet moment you can head to the property’s separate night chapel, surrounded by the hotel’s extensive gardens. Its unique interior was designed to mark the state of humanity at the millennium, and is linked to the work of the United Nations.
